River: I didn't think you'd come for me. Simon: Well, you're a dummy.

'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

brillig

I saw the Goonies a couple of weeks ago, and it was OK. I fear I am not Goony material.

ION, Hubby and I went to one of the big date restaurants the other night and spent the time spying on other couples and deciding where they were in their relationships.

"Couple to my left: she's very infatuated with him and he's trying to be cool and now show how into her he is." "Couple just off your right shoulder: Lots of chatting, but they're kind of leaning away from each other. But they are sitting on the same side of the booth." "First date, just behind you, she's very, very shy, her shoulders are hunched up and she's fidgeting with her fingers under the table."

The girl at the cash register said I was cute. I very nearly said, "I'm old enough to be your mother, I am not cute!" I did say it outside, which amused Hubby very much and made him call me cute all night. Brrr, the c-word.

If you Somervillains would all just move to suburbia, it would be better.

Well, yes...but then I'd be further away from other stuff.

Our wings are not tired.

All other farflungistas should not come to Boston between December and March (inclusive), though.

Yes, the farflungistas should go someplace warm and tropical with an abundance of fun activities during those months. Oh! That would be my town. Come on down!

Oh, so the girl I was tutoring, who showed up 30 minutes late? She had done *nothing* on her paper yet.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I love this game.

This one, NSM my favorite game.

We made an outline, and I walked her through what she needed to do for each article (three of them). I was very patient with her, considering.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Quisp!

(sorry)
