Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

j, if 'taking care of him' makes you feel better (and it might) go ahead and do it. if it doesn't, you're off the hook and he needs to do that himself

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Now I'm trying to decide if I should take the new girl baby to Owen's male pediatrician or choose a female pediatrician for her from the same practice?

I prefer having both my kids see the same doctor. My ped is a man. So is my OB/Gyn for that matter.

For the most part, it hasn't matter much to me whether my Dr was male or female. In general, my annoyance at various Drs has been based on personality, not gender. But when I was in my early 20s it really made a difference to me that my OB was a woman. Since then, however, it has been more about "clicking" with my doctor, and my choices have been more gender neutral.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Thanks, y'all.

I love marshmallows.

I just keep reminding myself that it's almost done, I'm almost gone, and I don't have to see him again. But yeah, it's hard.

Thanks.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I got the boy up and laid him on the couch with me. He's now out like a light. I put him in his crib and I'm going up to snuggle with my snoogle pillow.

My older sister has decided the weather has let up enough for her to travel through Northeastern Indiana to come over here and clean my house and just be generally helpful for the weekend. She'll be here in four hours.

This makes me happy.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Jessica, can you perhaps contact your local PP to see if they'll grant you a month's worth until you can get it sorted out?

Pregnancy is so tough on the body. I hope Cashmere's body adjusts to stretching and stops giving her so much pain.

Interpersonal relationships suck sometimes. You seem to be handling it with extreme grace under pressure, juliana. Still, here's hang-in-there ~ma for you.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Cash, when are you due?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Update from the conference of the damned: Our 3:30 speaker, a former minor world leader, has apparently disappeared. We're frantically calling her people trying to track her down. CEO has finally landed and may or may not make it to today's sessions at all. Chairman is having a rollicking good time running the show - which sounds like a good thing, but there's some territoriality with these two, so who knows what happens later on. Cover me, I'm going back in!
