Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Laughed at the joke. Yeah, no way you can get it without having read the book.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I never had a pediatrician for the kids. We all go to the same doctor.

Yup, I grew up with our family GP, who was older than dirt and who basically just handed out antibiotics like they were M&M's.

I hate to whinge but the past few days I have been HURTING LIKE HELL in the lower pelvis--definitely round ligament pain due to baby stretching but added into the sciatica and it just plain old fucking hurts to move most of the time.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Teppy, I totally got your Sonny Corleone joke and laughed, too. I think a person has to have read the book to get it.

Got it.

Laughed at the joke. Yeah, no way you can get it without having read the book.

I love you all.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

We have thunder and lightening with snow. How weird is that?

brenda said that happened here yesterday, too. I didn't hear it because I was in the bowels of a bldg. It must be moving east.

{{{Cashmere}}} I meant to give you hugs in my last post, but I was too busy being redundant.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Thanks, everyone. I feel like a complete crybaby.

I just want to put my damn feet up on the sofa and not move for a few hours. But the boy's refusing to fall asleep for his nap. I can still hear him counting the bees on his crib bumper and he's been up there almost an hour.

DH just called me from Vegas. His plane arrived safely. It's 50 degrees there. He soooooo owes me, big time.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I''m sorry you're feeling lousy, Cashmere. Is the boy happy counting his bees? If so, why not put your feet up until that changes?
