Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Should I e-mail everyone and tell them to stop testing while I fix it, or should I let the first run of tests finish?

I finished mine, and that was the only big issue I ran into. Let me know if you want me to retest after it's fixed, as I am determined to get minimal work done today.

it appears the skip logic isn't working mid-section in the survey.

I agree with Amych, just let them finish and ask them if they'd do it again afterwards.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I've always found wet baby skin a tad slippery. We used a baby tub until O was big enough for the big tub on his own. It worked out ok.

For time's sake, we have doubled up on more than one ocassion. But I tend to like my baths solo. This may be a result of being a twin and having to bath with someone else until I was 10 years old.

Ok. I should only need a couple people to test it again, anyway. This is all so exciting.

Thanks, amych! I got your e-mail. Raq, I got yours too. Anne, if you're around I got yours too :). You should all have replies.

Bitch Band

No, Bev, Nick's in a new band with much more talented musicians he's wanted to work with for a long time. They say they're pop/rock/progressive. They make me think of the hair bands of the 80s (Nick loves his makeup and they all do stunts with their instruments) combined with N*Sync, and a dash of something I don't know how to name. They vigorously oppose any appellation of punk, or techno, so there you have it. They're unique...they hope.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Ah,well go, Nick! I like Astronauts and Cavemen, too. If I think of anything else that sounds good, I'll let you know.

Holmes on the mind, so I immediately thought "The Speckled."

I like Astronaut or Indigo.

Coding and Sleeping

I used a baby tub in the kitchen sink for awhile. Nowadays I still bath them together. I'm not sure how old my daughter needs to be before I can just tell her to go take a bath.

ION, Leif invented a new recipie for chocolate chip cookies. Take a carton of eggs, break onto carpet. Add one large container of Nestle Quik and a cup of milk. Let stand until discovered. Luckily this happened while as was at work, but I still had to do a fair amount of carpet cleaning that night.

Aside from the carpet part, Leif's showing some worthwhile understanding of cooking basics. Still, sorry about the clean-up issues.

Oh, dear, Gud.

So, the saga of the Independent Study professor continues. I e-mailed him twice over the weekend. When I didn't hear any response by Tuesday, I decided to call him to make sure he got the e-mails. I got an e-mail from him late last night saying I should call him this morning, and no, he didn't get either of my e-mails.

This is getting so frustrating. I'm kind of just doing this all by myself. And now, I almost have the survey ready to go live, and I'm terribly afraid that he's going to tell me I'm going about it all wrong.
