I got more sleep - but keet wakeing up. at 530 - I heard something that in my sleep sounded like the front door. aprox 2 min later DH called to say he was leaveing Reno to get over the pass before the snow comes. I am supposed to call him at 8. I was so incoherent that I had to get out of bed and re try to hang up the phone.
I have three thigns I have to do today
wrap my sisters present so I can mail it.
call the water heater inspecter by 745 so he inspects in the am
go to work.
I am not going to worry about what I wanted to get done.
Also, it's not easy to write flap copy for a book on female sexual submission at nine o'clock in the morning. That is all.

I'm finally getting my hair done today! I have been trying to get an appointment for over a month, but stupid work kept getting in the way. I can't wait. You can barely tell my hair was once red.
Me too, sj! I'm so excited, I'm going to a new guy, and my friend gave me a picture that she found that immediately made her go "Brenda needs that hair!" And I agree.
I just got back from our divisions Christmas Brunch. You know, you think you can not eat too much but there is just SOOOO much food. Lots of mini-quiches, mini-cheesecakes, fruit, sausage, cheese, bread pudding, peach cobbler, blueberry coffeecake, petit-fours, apple strudel, solid milk or white chocolate snowmen, peppermint bark, nuts, punch, coffee, etc.
Even if you tried just one of each of your favorites you would have over-eaten.
Then later today we're having our office potluck.
Hivemind question for the pregnant and recently pregnant: I am looking for a Christmas gift for my cousin who is a few months along, and I want to get her something that is just for her, not for the baby. Is there something particular that you would have loved when you were pregnant?
