Mal: Inara, think you could stoop to being on my arm? Inara: Will you wash it first?

'Heart Of Gold'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Who does she look like in RL?

She looks more like Joe in RL. Although, every once in a while, she'll smirk and look like me. But def more like Joe.

We may have to get an insert for it, though, because she's getting to strong for us to hold in a secure fashion. We think she may be a Slayer. Or a werewolf. We're undecided.

We've been looking at one that straddles the side of the tub - seat for baby, seat fr mommy/daddy. Although, she's probably throw a fit if we tried to hold her down in the tub. She's all over the place. She loves it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

We do bathtime with one of us in the tub, and trade off. She's not quite good enough at sitting to be in the tub solo yet.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm the weirdo. Franny we bathe on her own, but I just think it's easier with Isaac to get in the bath with him and hold him in my lap.

ETA oh good, Plei does it too. Now I don't feel so crunchy granola.

I just think being in the tub with her is more fun at this point. When she gets bigger, maybe not as much fun. But for now, family bath nights are a highlight of the parenting experience.

Well, I also cloth diaper, baby wear, and make my own organic baby food, so, you know, kind of crunchy in this corner.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Cute babies!

Two more contest entries down. One blah, one that has potential despite an eyeroll-inducing moment or two. (This isn't judging, just the initial read--I'm not that fast!)

At least everyone in this bunch has a decent basic understanding of grammar, story structure, POV, and the like.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am neither of those things, yet I am awake.

Me, too,

me three, though I really should be asleep.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I made organic baby food!

And then Em wanted to feed herself.

And we haven't done a mommy-Em bath. Maybe this week. Joe I know won't do it. Took him months before he would wash "the girly bits". @@

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Hmmm. I am 666 posts behind in Bitches.

Maybe I'll just mark that post and take my time catching up from there.

Or maybe I won't look back, would that be best? Leave the e-vile behind and just move on?

What did I miss?
