Angel: If I'm not back in a couple of hours— Gunn: You're dead, we're screwed, end of the world.

'Underneath'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

The temperature here is 45F. If I bitch about the cold, maybe the gods of irony will make that job in Copenhagen come through for me.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We're at a brisk 36 here. PERFECT winter weather.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Perkins, I'm awfully sorry about Belmont. SF is supposed to be about 45-59 all week long (into the 30s at night, admittedly, but no lower than 45 during the day).

I believe the high here today is supposed to be 16-18. Yes, that's the high.

I could never, ever live there. I'm completely in awe of you.

I hate winter.

(my coat just fell off its hook and clobbered me.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I could never, ever live there. I'm completely in awe of you.

It's odd. Chicago people who complain about the cold amuse me. For me, it's not cold cold until it gets below zero.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

It is twenty-two here, and I was just outside. I didn't even really feel like I needed mittens!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's odd. Chicago people who complain about the cold amuse me. For me, it's not cold cold until it gets below zero.

Yeah. Now I'm not saying it was any joy standing on Lakeshore and Belmont for a half-hour waiting for the bus yesterday, but outside of situations like that I don't really see the big. But then I like the cold, once we've had the first couple of days of it and I've had a chance to acclimate.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

For me, it's not cold cold until it gets below zero.

Same here. When I left for work this morning, I thought, "Oh. It's brisk today. Glad it's not too windy." I realize it's cold, but I don't think of it as cold cold.

Librarian Warlord

A few pictures from New Zealand. Commentary will appear someday soon, in the LJ.

Our wings are not tired.

Wow! Sparky1 those are great pictures. Wouldn't catch me on that bridge though. The B&B looks wonderful. The scenics look otherworldly. Nice.
