This led to a frantic dream with PMi, Kristin, DavidS, my DH - and unseen others in what claimed to be Reno in my dream. There was too much running around and too much badly packed luggage. and I only got to see Lilly once, just before PM and I got on the ferris wheel.

I just realized that when I grabbed a pair of tights this morning - I grabbed a pair of BROWN tights. . . which I am wearing with my black skirt.

Curse my lowly lit bedroom!

So my company's Christmas party was Saturday. I found other things to do, as I loathe corporate parties. Still, there was a nice $40 gift card to Wal-Mart as a gift. Thing is, my boss hates the idea of cash as gifts, he thinks gifts should be things. So what he wants is for everyone to go out and buy something, bring it in to work, have it wrapped up, then have a party here at work so we can all unwrap our presents. I'm thinking of saying, "Sorry, John, but the food is in the refrigerator at home, and my husband wanted to wear his new boots."

My boss is a remarkably employee-minded man, one of the fairest, most considerate bosses I've ever worked for. But he takes it a bit far sometimes.

My cat Tanuki would LOVE to be able to open doors. She understands that you have to twist the knob. I'm just glad that SHE isn't a polydactyl kitty.
