I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I know why I'm not asleep - I'm having a period of free-floating anxiety.

Soon I will take a hot bath - sometimes that helps.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Because someone has to entertain me?

That is, depending on how well off you are you can choose to skip some products or vendors that are bad for the environment/society/humanity/etc. But the problems are structural. Just about everything is made in a harmful way one way or the other.

Yeah, it is structural, but pre-budget, I was SO used to being able to choose the least harmful option, and I'm just always amazed at how much it costs (at least in Seattle) to do that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Because someone has to entertain me?

I took a 4 hour nap this afternoon. I suspect I will be here to do that for a long time.

I'm all disappointed.

I saw White Christmas - the Musical tonight. It has some songs that aren't in the movie/soundtrack, but there is no soundtrack for the musical. BUT I WANT IT!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I am not sleepy. because we stayed in bed 'til 11 this morning. And I did a whole bunch of stuff. DH is impressed. But I know I've not been sleeping as well as I should, because I have been tired by 10, and that isn't usual. After DH gets out of the bath , It is my turn. and I am still hopeing to turn out the lights before 11. We shall see.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Hey, it's 1 a.m. in my part of the country, and I'm still awake. Am considering whacking head with mallet to induce sleep or at least a stupor.

Drat. Do not own mallet.

Note to self: buy mallet.

Well, maybe if I go crawl into bed, that'll fool my brain into falling asleep.

It's past 1AM in this part of the country, and I'm still awake.

Unfortunately, I need to pack (again) because I head to Tampa tomorrow (from work). But I got all wrapped up in trying to get a project together for Christmas presents (I think I"ma gonna do it for my mom and sis and bro (I already bought dad's)--a picture book of family photos I, um, "borrowed" last Christmas). I got a scanner hooked up, but still haven't figured out how to make the process not annoying--I can save a file, but then I have to manually drag it into iPhoto, and that's annoying as all get-out. Also the scans are looking sorta crappy, but some of that is the oldness and scratched-up-ness of the pictures involved.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Get a rubber mallet, Steph. It's less likely to break the skin.

I hope you're not reading this, though.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I missed wishing amych happy on her day. Happy Belated, and may your year be a wonderful one!

My favorite of the darling clutch of Em pics is the one she's wearing her bowed Mary Janes--and *pointing her toes*! So cute!

That's a gorgeous cover, Deena & vw. Yay for ambitious new projects.
