I may be breaking my no Walmart policy, though, and ordering Toto's Christmas picture cards through them. They're $0.33 each! Which is much cheaper than anywhere else I've found on the web. Most places are $0.50-$0.60 each at the number I'm going to buy. I'm broke. I need to go with the cheapest route.
I broke my Wal-mart policy when they offered the Razr phone through Cingular for $68. It's a $200 phone that Christopher wanted for Christmas so I broke down and got it.
They're $0.33 each!
Oh dude, that is cheap! I went with Snapfish because they had a card I really liked, but I think I paid closer to .60 per card.
I have gone so far as to rationaize that the penguins are on vacation in the arctic when the polar bears come upon them. Because it is winter and the sky is dark, so not Antarctica.
"Things go better with Coke, but not penguins, don't eat them" - my imaginary slogan for the all important polar bear market segment.
I went to Wal-mart in September because they were the closest place to get my car fixed, but i haven't been back. I can't give up Target, though. I have a gift card. They'll just have to get better policies.
Oh dude, that is cheap!
I know! I was SHOCKED at the price!
They'll just have to get better policies.
I'm on board with this.
Speaking of cheap holiday things, does anyone know of a good place to get canning jars online that won't completely gauge me on shipping? Every place I've seen so far is charging as much for the shipping as for the jars themselves! (And I know they're heavy, but come on!)
There are a few places I could get them in the neighborhood, but I'd love to have them delivered. (See above, re: heavy.)
Jessica, I've ordered them online before. Let me see if I can figure out where.
I was perusing area weather cameras, and found this one [link] Which seems to depict a scene on the surface of Io, not Iowa. (Jupiter shows up better in the time lapse...)
Happy Birthday Amych!! I hope today is as lovely as you are and the coming year treats you right.

Any chance the neighborhood stores would deliver? I know my hardware store and most others around here will if you ask.
