It's because you didn't have a strong father figure isn't it?

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I gave up around 10:30 and came in to work. I figured that, if the Eternally Running Faucet hadn't started running heavier over the previous 3 hours, it wasn't going to at all, and I didn't want to waste my day listening to my bathtub faucet run. It was making me need to pee.

Thrive to spite them

cute green puppy!!

I wasn't comfortable as much as surprised. I'm not exactly sure when I'll see him again, he works in an area I never get to, but when I do I'll flirt and see what happens.

Huh. I read the sentence

Veterinarians said it is possible for a newborn puppy's fur to be green because the placenta, which is green, rubs off at birth.

"Vegetarians said it..." and had to re-read with "Wait, so vegetarians can eat him?" in my brain.

It's been a long day.

I have no opinion on the co-worker flirtation, except that more people should flirt with askye.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I read it exactly the same way, Raq. But I didn't question the authority of vegetarians over green dogs until your post.

Pre coffee me, very accepting of random inputs.

I get to go the DMV and (I hope) get my California DL. I hope I don't need anything that proves I live at the address I'm giving them.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

In true CA DMV form, they'll probably ask for your driver's license.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Hear Hear.

Well, I had planned to give them the one that says I live in La.

Forgot to say - have fun with the flirtage, askye. I think any initial flirting-at-work is bound to be met with surprise. Because context is so important. But if you can establish some flirt-back-ness later on, well, who knows?

And this is me after coffee. Not so much with the sensemaking.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

-t, they probably will want something. Do you have any mail you can bring with the CA address? Sometimes that's enough.

No, I haven't actually signed the lease yet, or moved in or anything.I have a recipt for the rental deposit wit the address handwritten on it, I'll bring that. If they give me static I'll just have to go back after I sign the lease. I'm just trying to abide by the "must have Cali DL within 10 days of establishing residency" rule as much as I can.

I can't remember them asking me for anything beyond my NM DL and a mailing address in CA. But that was a long time ago.

I'm in a mood. Exacerbated by the DH being in a mood. So I think I'm going to go find a couch and a book.
