'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

Oh, vw, yuck! I hope you feel better soon!

And poor -t. I had the administrative stuff where if people would just do their jobs correctly the first time you wouldn't be having such problems.

It's pouring outside. Normally I like this but I'm sick and dind't sleep well last night so I'm achey too. And the dogs need to be walked but I can't take Ellie-with-an-ear-infection-and-cold out for a walk in the rain. Or I could, but I'd feel bad and irresponsible doing it.

Our house is a total mess. I didn't have the energy to pick up and clean yesterday. I should get to it today but it's questionable. At least I'm the neatnik. Joe doesn't care at all.

Speaking of Joe, he's supposed to be jumping out of an airplane this morning. I don't think they will go because of the rain, but I always worry just a bit on jump days.

Thanks, Stephanie. I mean, I've got the cold, the asthma, the cough, the no voice. You'd think my body would cut me a break? But, no.

I had that happen one winter - UTI, what you've got, plus mono. It was quite the month. I hope the nebulizer starts working some magiv for you. All that breathing stuff has sounded really scary.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Wow, a whole lot of good Bitches news to come into of a morning (except for the FEMA screw-ups and vw's yeast infection).

In further fascinating news of my robe hunt, it turns out that the eBay seller's out of the color/size combo I want, too. Oh, well. It gives me a quest.

I have this group paper that is due tomorrow evening in class (we're also doing a presentation). I've been working on it this morning and have sent five e-mails to my partner. She's gonna be like, "LEAVE ME ALONE ALREADY!"

Hee!

And now I must get in the shower.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Calli, is red not jewel-toned enough? Lillian Vernon has one (can't remember if it was mentioned or not) [link]

Thanks, d, but I'm afraid it's not dark enough. Lillian Vernon has some nice stuff, though.

I have a man's robe, I think, and it works just fine for me. I'm not terribly large chested, but it doesn't gape in front unless I don't tie it securely. Seems like I'm finding quite a lot of the darker colors in the men's section, some are well in your price range. [link] has nice hunter green & burgandy ones. Land's End burgandy one is nice [link] Good luck with your search!

Thank you, d. My sister's fairly well endowed, which is what makes me nervous about going with the men's robes. I like the burgandy, too.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

My sister's fairly well endowed, which is what makes me nervous about going with the men's robes.

I'm a 38C/40B, and men's robes tend to be just fine on me. However, I do like the bottom part of the robe to wrap as far around me as possible for the cozy factor.
