Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

now I'm tempted to write a fake personal statement about my online friends and slash
Thou shalt not slash thy online friends. Or at least don't admit it.

Dave hasn't called to say he is home from his meeting yet. I am getting worried. Someone tell me not to.

sj, he's standing outside the meeting, which has been over forever, talking to a couple people, and they didn't even realize what time it is.

So then I shouldn't call him again. He knows it's never too late to call me since I don't sleep very well when he's not here. And, I am really sounding pathetic, aren't I?

Because books.

Dave hasn't called to say he is home from his meeting yet. I am getting worried. Someone tell me not to.

Don't worry. Maybe he stopped for groceries, or gas?

Oh, I got my official GRE results Saturday, too!

Nice scores! Go meara!

Of course my major question is, why are they looking for someone to teach these classes in the middle of the year?

You could ask...how long the other staff has been there, maybe? To show interest in a stable environment? I don't know, I'm blanking, but I also do when I have to ask those kinds of questions. You'll do fine, I bet.

They want to know you are not a nut.

This is surprisingly true in a lot of situations.

It's 11:30 at night here. Not much is still open.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

It's 11:30 at night here. Not much is still open.

Ah, yes, the New England Craxy.

At least the midwest knows the beauty of the 24-hour store.

It really is probably nothing to be worried about, sj. Don't fret yet.

Because books.

It is here, too, but there's always a 24-hour place somewhere to get stuff. I know this because I send Stephen out late all the time to indulge my PopTart or chip cravings.

Still, don't worry. Or call him! He wouldn't mind if he knew you were worried, right? Dave doesn't seem like the type who would mind anyway.

I'm waiting until midnight, and then I am calling him back.

He wouldn't mind if he knew you were worried, right?

He probably won't mind. He knows I'm an obsessive worrier.
