Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Mmmm turkey enchiladas. That sounds like a good plan for Monday. I am off to Mom's tomorrow morning. I packed up all my leftovers in little boxes today to freeze. We'll enjoy them when we return.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I made myself a nummy turkey salad (with celery, red grapes and walnuts) sandwich, so far. Tomorrow, I may go for a turkey-artichoke heart pasta dish. We'll see.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I've just started putting some jazz vocals/standards up at Buffistarawk for folks that like that kind of thing. Check the inbox for Jazzy Fay posts.

All is well that ends in pizza.

"Hey man, isn't that Buffistarawk?"

"Yeah, man!"

"Well, turn it up, man!"

Excellent! I was just bitching in Natter earlier that the local jazz radio station has gone jazzy holiday tunes 24/7 for the season as of today. Blah.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Hec, would you mind forwarding info on Buffistarawk to me as well?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

One's been flirting with me and, even though I keep turning my back on him, he is persistent and keeps poking me in the side like an annoying 5th grader.
Tell him "go way!" And if he pulls your pigtails, run.

Mom just left to go have dinner with the boys. I have tissues, soup I can warm up and juice if I want. Am feeling better-ish. I mean, still feel like hell but not the very painful special hell from last night and earlier today.

"Well, turn it up, man!"
Heh.

Also 24 reruns are good when sick and pathetic.
