The "boys will be boys" line is something of a jaw-dropper. I guess the principal will be okay with it when Sparky's nephew or another boy takes a tw-by-four or worse weapon upside the bully's head?
And, as a veteran of innumerable girlfights in junior high, I deplore the gender-biased double standard.
(That was humor, in case our definition needed another data point. Maybe not good humor, but then that's ice cream.)
