There was snow on the ground and in the air when I left my apartment but it was strangely warm outside.
Warm enough that I didn't button up my coat nor did I put on my gloves and I was perfectly comfortable. (I am wearing a turtleneck and a sweater.)
Now, the snow is almost gone, but this is possibly the warmest part of the day.
Meanwhile, my cold seems to be stuck in the throat congestion stage - hopefully it will disappear soon.

Timelies. All of Kara's classmates got the same cold she did, and everyone's taking about 2 weeks to get over it. In fact, Kara's still got a bit of a snot monster and she's at the end of her 3rd week. I hope Owen's snot monster dies a lot sooner.
Aw, damn, vw gets the Monstro Bookcase O' Doom and the comic books, too? I know HCJ is fine and all that, but IMO Aimee shortchanged herself with that deal.
Really. I dream about that bookcase. If y'all are still in California at that far-distant point in time many years hence when Zmayhem moves to a bigger place, I will happily pay Joe whatever he asks to spend a weekend up here and build us our own MBO'D.

We were playing pirates on the boat. My daughter decided that she was the captain, Leif was the assistant captain, and I was "Scullywag" who apparently has no rank to speak of.
