Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Are you going to break the IT professionals into little boxes?

Waterproof boxes, I hope. Otherwise there'll be something of an ooze factor.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Categorise me. I dare you.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I hate the "boys will be boys" rationale.

Especially when it's a case of "bullies are being bullies."

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

What's the count on professional (paid or un-paid SAHM) caregivers?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Jeez, you make one blanket statement, even with a qualifier, and everyone wants counts and proof and back-up.

Well, it's that way cause I SAID SO!

Because books.

What's the count on professional (paid or un-paid SAHM) caregivers?

Oooh, good call. And don't forget writers -- there are lots of those, paid and unpaid, too.

Yay, Connie! That's good news.

{{{vw}}} I have no knowledge of Power Point or animation, but I offer hugs for the tough discussion with your professor. Confrontation is never easy. (At least for me.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Librarians are right up there, too.

Woohoo! Can't wait to join the ranks.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I ask for hair help and got nothing. Then almost 2 hours and no posts?

Sorry, Maidengurl. Unsurprisingly, I think you look hot with short hair. However, since you seem to have in-between curls, I would like to point out that you have perfect hair for most of the glamorous hairstyles of the 1950s which were styled between wavy and curly.

As such, you might want to get it cut into longer layers to release the curls (which is, I think, how you already have it cut), and then try some different ways of styling it. Talk to your hairstylist about it, and try a side part, with the top combed out (with some product) so that it's more wavy than curly and leave the bottom to curl on its own.

I don't think the length is the issue so much, as that you need to style it differently when it gets longer.

I'm kind of busy, but I'll see if I can round up some quick pictures.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was even 5 minutes early.

Of course, my brain and competency still seem to be at home, but so far I'm the only one who has missed them.
