Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The dog would love to play, but is just waiting for her to start the game. She is not having it. She is still whining. I almost wish I had a smaller area I could lock them in together to make them figure it out.

She has been staying outside more than inside cause she doesn't want to deal with the dog, but it is getting cold and wet - she needs to be comfortable inside.

Thrive to spite them

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this but Aurora, the Giant Pacific Octopus laid eggs and they are viable! Originally the scientist thought the eggs were sterile, but they were wrong and now there are babies! The article is from April, so it may have been posted, but the baby looks like a wee!Cthulhu.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Go, baby octopus!

Suddenly I want to get a couple of gold fish and name them Aurora and Meghan.

Aurora didn't pull through (which is the norm for octopus mommies of her sort)

and for some reason I can't make links, the article is from september in the Current Press Release section of the Alaska Sealife Center

VW, zooming through (actually I'm still in class right now, on wireless), I went to sleep really early last night! Hence an early AM for me.

Noboby puts Baby in a corner.

Am I the last person on earth to notice that Baby's mother is Emily Gillmore?

Now I'm thinking Johnny Castle knocked up Baby and she moved to a little town in Connecticut and had Baby Baby. (Which makes me sad because I hate to think that Johnny would run out of Baby and Baby Baby)

And when I IMDBd I discovered that Kelly Bishop (Mrs. Housman/Gillmore) won a Tony for Chorus Line. This makes her line (one of three in the movie) "I think she gets it from me" when she sees Baby dancing fucking hysterical.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Good- afternoon I suppose- everyone. I have a day off of work unexpectedly. It's mostly a good thing, because I have laundry and dishes, and I need to be at work early Monday because my computer's down, and I can use someone elses to get stuff done, but I don't want to be in anyone's way.

However, it also meant I was home to get the phone call a few minutes ago telling me that a friend died last night after falling asleep in her running car with the garage door shut. It also means I'm by myself at the house without anything but housework to keep me busy.
