Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I feel very strongly that I have not been reading enough James Thurber lately.

This shall be remedied.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Maybe after hibernating this winter you'll be refreshed enough to pursue social life stuff. Or putter around your home happily.

That's kind of the plan. I decided that I'm going to do bare minimum life-maintenance kind of stuff until after New Year's. If the mood strikes me to do something, I'll do it, but otherwise, I'm not pushing myself on anything beyond job, home maintenance, and weight loss (doing Weight Watchers w/ a fair amount of success). I'd been wondering why I was so damned tired, and had to look at everything that's been going on in the past six months and remind myself that yes, I've had a lot going on that might be sucking out my energy.

I have a Peppermint Mocha. It is yummy. Hopefully it will motivate me to get my studying done.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Should be lots of fun but I hate packing. babies need so much.

It's sort of like packing for an Everest expediton, isn't it? Still, I'd rather have something and not need it than need it and not have it.

Have a fun trip!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I want a Peppermint Mocha, too. It will be got, but not until I've showered and started laundry. Bleh.

Stephanie, I hope you have a good time on the Outer Banks. It looks pretty (I went to a travelogue a couple weeks ago that featured it.)

Because books.

Yay, Fay!

Stephanie, I have a friend who will be there over Thanksgiving, too! She goes with her whole family every year, which is a nice tradition. Have fun!

I need more tea. And we're having un-fun plumbing problems this morning. Blech.

Thanks, everyone! I've been so busy lately I haven't been around much.

, I'd rather have something and not need it than need it and not have it.

So true!

move out and draw fire

Fay rocks.

I just made a list of what I need to pack for Germany. My side of the paper is about 5 items (I've always packed really light). The baby's side is the whole page. Ridiculous.
