[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hell, now *I* want that dress!
See--EVIL SITE

This is still more than I would want to spend, even on sale, but I love the coral color of this shirt [link]

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

If we find something better, you get the better thing and cancel the order or return it when it arrives. And besides, it's only $35. There'll certainly be even prettier things at Macy's, but not on sale or clearance, not right at the start of velvet season.

One of my friends at Faire brought her best-ever find last weekend -- a gorgeous black-and-white patchwork felt hat she got for a penny. Apparently Macy's, like every other high-end store in creation, has some kind of dealio with a warehouse/outlet place, but they also have a secret dealio among their own staff that if you happen to pounce on a sale item that should have been pulled from the shelves and shipped off to the outlet but was somehow missed, they sell it to you for a penny. (You can't tell ahead of time; it's just random individual items that you only find out about when the clerk tries to ring them up and finds they've vanished from the database.) Sooper Seekrit Treasure Hunt!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I thought about that shirt, but alas, I, too, am not willing to spend that much money on 1 article of clothing that I will inevitably spill coffee on.

Perkins, I just sent you a code for half off of that price. Now you have no excuses.

OH NO. I was so busy listening to JZ that I missed Ginger's post.

Thanks so much though.

Want me to forward it to Steph?

Want me to forward it to Steph?

Yes, BUT only if you aren't going to use it.

I have no idea what happens if you both use the code. I suspect it will work. I looked yesterday, but I didn't see anything I needed, so I'm not using it.

Ginger, Is this a one time thing, or useable by more than one person? If it is more than one person, I may call to see if I can apply it retroactively. If not, no big, and Steph should use it.

eta: Cool. I will try it then.
