Timelies!
That's pretty much all I've got this morning. It's my long day, and I'm not even really dreading it. Go figure.
Good morning, vw! And everyone else!
There is a researcher coming to my house this morning. That's fine, but the house is pretty cluttered at the moment. I don't think neatness is part pf her research, but there is no way I'm letting her in with the house the way it is. So, a fun morning of picking stuff up awaits me. Yay!
Timelies to you, vw, and to everyone else.
I have to get the babies ready for school in just a few minutes, and I'm not quite functional. This is going to be an interesting day.
Hi, Stephanie!
Hi, Deena! Ooooo...Deena, I was talking to my dad this morning and guess what he suggested? A control group. Are you two on the same wave-length or what?!
Good luck getting the babies ready for school.
I have to go write the control group's survey. I've got a half hour to do it.
Timelies. It actually hit the freezing mark this morning. Um, yay?
the guys from Woods Hole Oceanagraphic Institute gave us a photo mosaic of the 5th Century shipwreck they are exploring. So I've now joined the ranks of the first 50 people to see these casks and amphorae in the last 1700 years.
So very nifty!
Timelies!
I actually have an appointment to get my hair cut this afternoon. My cousin is getting married this weekend, so we are attempting to look like humans for the event.
But, I have no clue what to do with my mop. I have been working on growing it out, but it is frustrating me and I think I liked it shorter (hush, Hec). DH hated - with a passion - when it was shorter.
My biggest frustration is that it is not straight enough for most short styles, yet not curly enough for others. HELP ME!!!!!
So I've now joined the ranks of the first 50 people to see these casks and amphorae in the last 1700 years.
This is so cool.
I did something very non-l33t at lunch, and asked if I could scan the photo, or a portion of it, to my Flickr account (it's copyrighted to Woods Hole) so you guys could see it, and they said no, not until they release their work. Which makes sense.
I may do a painting of it (when I have time, HA!), as it's neat patterns and textures. The debris field is oblong, with mostly intact amphorae (the kind with pointy bottoms) predominating, in various depths of sediment. It's all tones of reddish-brown, and there are starfish here and there.
ION, Mallory had his first souvlaki at lunch today, and appears to be a fan.
