Atherton: Half the men in this room wish you were on their arm, tonight. Inara: Only half. I must be losing my indefinable allure.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Joe is attempting to clip the dogs nails.

The same dog that has, in the past, had to be put under to have his nails clipped.

The sound of the dog growling and yelping combined with the theme music fron Farscape makes for ear hurty sounds.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Re: dog pedicure - as Astro would say, "Rotsa ruck, Reorge!"

Here's a link for the quiz-whores among us: [link] - it is a fairly elaborate brain sex differentiator brought to you by the BBC.

It pegged me as smack in the middle of the masculine range. Which is a bit odd as that thing that tests the gender of a given passage's author always gets me as female.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Aimee, Sam is the same way--skittish as hell. I am the only human being that can clip that damn dog's nails. I wrap his eyes in a dishtowl to calm him down and straddle him. I think he's about the same size as Ollie. But it's still a fucking ordeal.

Which reminds me I need to do that sometime soon--he's marking up my wood floors.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Interesting quiz.

Empathy score: 3/20 (average score for men 7.9/20) Identifying emotions of others: 7/10 (average score for men 6.6/20)

Analysis: I can tell what people are feeling, but I don't much care.

Heh.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Interesting quiz.
It annoyed me so I just clicked the window closed. What does that say about me?

I have without ill effects -- but I am not sure if that is always the case.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm right in the middle of the female brain. No real surprises, though I'm better than reading faces than I thought I would be.

I've never clipped my dogs toenails. He walks on sidewalks and other paved surfaces every day, it keeps them pretty well filed.

I know nothing, perhaps less than nothings, about allergy meds. But something has been making my skin itch for the past few days. I suspect insect bites. Taking a bath seems to help for a while.

I just this minute realized that now that I am on the West coast I can't watch and post. By reading the Lost thread a little too far. Whoops.
