Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

I think we should have a spontaneous birthday party here for ChiKat and Jessica, whose birthdays had elements of suck to them, and for all the other Bitch birthdays, just because.

Two shallownesses:

About how long does it take to get an order from BPAL? I probably couldn't get something for my stepmom's Xmas present, could I?

My DH is now officially addicted to Lush's Buffy bar for shaving. He used to use Razorantium, but adores Buffy for both head and beard. And I have to support him in this, because wow, smoooooth.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm not going to say welcome back or home, Steph, because clearly that needs to wait until you actually move out here. I am glad I got to see you this weekend, even though it was far too short.

Kicks stoopid body

says oww.

Librarian Warlord

Let me note that Sparky and Mr. Sparky are sneaky evil Uno players.

I would like to note that my DH and I were the only ones who didn't win an Uno game, and sometimes there's just no choice about playing those "Draw Two" cards. ::sniff::

No. Don't even think about it. There is currently a 6-8 week shipping time for orders from BPAL.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm sorry we couldn't hook up on Sunday, dang it. (I also learned that I can't hear my cell phone ringing, even when it's in my pants pocket, which is why I missed so many calls over the weekend.)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

juliana, how are you doing today?

Absolute crap, actually. Can't stop crying, probably have to sign paperwork when I get home, can't find a new ring to balance out my hands (they feel off with only 7 rings on), had to create new bank accounts today... No, today is not a good day. But it's not a good day for a lot of people, so there it is.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm sorry, Julianna. Wishing you scads of calm.

ChiKat - that's no way to birthday. I'm wishing you a happier one.

Jilli - insent.

Welcome back, Tep. It was great having you out here in San Francisco where you so clearly belong.
