Wesley: I stabbed you. I should apologize for that. But I'm honestly not sure how. I think it'll just be awkward. Gunn: Good call. Wesley: Okay.

'Time Bomb'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

ND should post a picture of himself holding his Ovation

Interesting euphemism.

Librarian Warlord

Congrats to ND!

I had a meeting this morning at 8:30 and I'm scheduled to work until 9 pm tonight. Someone sent me a big research project at 7:30 a.m. this morning. I leave for New Zealand tomorrow. Is today over, yet?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

raises both hands

Congrats, Drew!!!

Happy Birthday, sumi!!!!

Jessica, your cow-orkers suck.

Sparky, I vote that the day is over.

I had a fairly crappy birthday last night that ended in the BF and me getting in a huge fight. And, I'm not sure it's something we're going to recover from.

{{chikat}} I hope it is something you can recover from

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear ChiKat, I'm sorry.

Now tagless for your comfort.

{{{ChiKat}}}, that sucks. I really hope it blows over.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oof, ChiKat. What a terrible way to end a birthday. I hope everything works out.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

{{{ChiKat}}} Sorry about the fight, and sorry I seem to have missed wishing you a happy(er) birthday.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Congrats, ND! That's wonderful!

Happy birthday, sumi!

{{ChiKat}} I'm sorry. I hope it gets smoothed over quickly.

Deena, those are gorgeous boots, and I am trying to fit them into my 'omg two weeks until I'm unemployed' final spending money budget. Which is hampered by BPAL releasing their anniversary scents, which include something called Pink Phoenix, and has notes of vanilla bean, honeycomb, sugared pear, sweet pea and a dribble of strawberry.

Pooh Case is a wonderful thing. I abuse use it lots.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Hola, Bitches.

I was, as previously rumored, in San Francisco for the weekend. A long weekend. I got to see many Bay Area-istas, though not all (drat!), and of course there's never enough time to do everything one wants to do with everyone one wants to do it with.

I spent an obscene amount of money at Lush and various other stores, ate some yummy yummy food, was triumphant in one game of Uno, had gingerbread pancakes, got launched off the end of a bench by Emmett [NOTE: completely unplanned and unexpected by me, but physics and gravity are harsh mistresses], met Ruby the pug, tried (and failed) to make Otka the puffer fish at the pirate store puff up, ate saffron/pistachio ice cream, was HIGHLY entertained watching Hec and Emmett playing Animaniacs computer games, walked all over the Mission while marvelling at Emmett's endless energy, and was introduced to Invader Zim.

I know I'm forgetting stuff.

It was sunny and 70 degrees there all weekend, and now I'm back in Cincy, at work, and it's 60-ish degrees, grey and rainy, and forecast to nosedive to a high of 45 tomorrow. Bah. Bah, I say!
