(I'd been making soaps, and the Zombie Skin--called at the time "Soap Leprosy"--was the soap I peeled out of the Pyrex during clean up.)

I'm going to hope it is just fireworks. Ours go off much later though. I can hear them from Sea World, PetCo Park downtown and Qualcomm Stadium. There are some weird acoustics here.
Uh oh. I bought two wineglasses today. They were at Trader Joe's and stemless and really awesomely priced. The problem? I have no room for them. I've got a bit of a barware fetish... But they are really neat!
