It's like, in the middle of all this, I'm paranoid that you'll think I don't like poetry.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I didn't think I could handle anyone doing Janis Joplin, but Melissa Etheridge did a fabulous job. She truly rocks.

brillig

Love the one-word carry-over post.

This evening we went to the Maadi Community Church to hear Terry Waite

Oh, how cool! Second on the "one hell of a man" judgement.

The crown prince of Saudi Arabia.

What is the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia doing getting married in Egypt? Unless this is a secondary wife. Still, again, how cool.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am now severely impoverished, but my breasts look great. I don't think I can ever go back to Maidenform.

Crack, crack, I tell you.

I vote for the $$ on the goodlooking breasts. I tried to wear some of my other (Victoria's Secret) bras after buying the Wacoal, caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and threw the old bras out. Not that Wacoal's everyone's fit, but when you find that fit, I think it's very worth the money.

Sadly, I espouse that for sports bras too, and the ones that work for me are even more expensive than the Wacoals.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I think my brother thinks I just came out to him, but when we were kids he had a Freddie Mercury album!

I have a gay friend whose father's reaction when he came out was, "It's not because of Elton John, is it?"

Fay's posts are like a visit from Scheherazade. I have nothing as exciting to report, unless there's someone who would be excited by my second-row tickets to Laurie Anderson last night.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

but when you find that fit, I think it's very worth the money.
It really is. Sadly my rack has changed size in the past couple of years so I don't have that fit anymore, I just guess.

I should clean out my closet today. Toss out things I will never wear or that don't work.

Instead I made enchiladas.

Not that enchiladas proclude me from cleaning my closets. Sloth will take care of that just fine by itself.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

sorry - work is only for things that make me feel better. this is restoration weekend. sleep, books, tv, and good food are the important things. It is possible that the bedroom will get cleaned ( it looks way too much like a salvation army bin) but only if I feel like it.
