Why couldn't you be dealing drugs like normal people?

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Steph, call the duck.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Hey, that's why we have professionals. And blood is scary. I say beep the sucker.

(this is a completely uninformed opinion)

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'm trying not to escalate the situation. I expect lots of people feel the same way, because the silence since she posted has been deafening.

I might say something about getting back on track to our regularly scheduled Regency discussion and how one of the reasons I'm writing about the Peninsular War rather than the Iraq War, besides my being a historical fiction writer to my core, is that it allows me to write about men like my nephew without feeding my rage at the current political situation.

Trust my rage

Ok, I called and left a message on the nurse line. She should call me back.

You did the right thing, Steph. That's what they're there for.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I agree, call the doctor.

Our wings are not tired.

I agree, call back Stephanie.

Give 'em hell Susan.

For a minute there I thought Susan was tlaking about me and I was thinking "crap, they all think my baby's dying." Then the context hit me. I have given up fighting about the war. It just wears me out and upsets me too much.

eta: ymmv, of course, if you have the energy, I say tell her off. You can use Joe and I , too, if you want.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

HI, all. I finally have a couple of minutes to stop by...Have been so busy, but in a good way. Working my ass off as a teaching, staying after two days a week for two hours to tutor (hey, extra $120 per check) and also working for the theatre part-time for the last 8 our of 10 weekends.

But things are going REALLY well. I am happier than I have been for a long time -- I freaking LOVE teaching. And I'm really fucking good at it. Today all of my freshmen are taking nature walks to find material for a 3-D art project were doing for the novel we're reading (Speak, FWIW) and my sophomores are going to just reading quietly in the park. It's GORGEOUS today.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Erin! So happy to hear that you're loving teaching and it's loving you. As we all do.
