Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I don't deal well with uncertainty or change.
I don't blame you -- it sucks. But for whatever it's worth, I have a feeling this will turn out to be one of the good changes when you're looking back at later.
(Then again, I also have a feeling that a concert grand piano should be dropping on Z's poopy head any minute. My premonitions aren't always so very, how you say, literal.)
This is so fucking scary.
We will certainly help in any way we can. I'm sorry I don't have any theater connections to help you.

[scrolls back] Juliana dear, I'm terribly, terribly sorry. That's awful news.
He's got his life all mapped out for him and I've got fog.
But ya know - maps get changed and fog eventually clears. Which means he'll have made the wrong turn at Albequerque and you'll be standing in the sunshine.
t /bad metaphors
juliana, I've already pinged a local theater friend, and by the time you move in to Lee's place you'll already have a membership in this group and a subscription to their monthly magazine.
I'm so very deeply sorry. I so much hope that SF will be a place for you to regroup and heal, and the Bayistas will be here for whatever help we can possibly offer.
I also have a feeling that a concert grand piano should be dropping on Z's poopy head any minute. My premonitions aren't always so very, how you say, literal.
Whereas
my
premonition is saying, Bank safe.
{{vw}} Feel better soon.
Susan, that is great news! Woo and hoo! But, ugh, on having to find new clothes.
{{{juliana}}} I'm so very sorry life has done a 180 on you. I hope your transition to the new life in SF is quick and relatively painless. If you need any help, I'm only a 5 hour drive away.
ETA: Oh, I don't want to forget to congratulate the Miracleborns on their new acquisition! I'm so glad for you. And we do need more pictures of red-haired Kristin.
yay Susan!
I can't respond to that poster. it is too odd.
and I hope WF has something for you out here - so there is one transition that won't be too traumatic.
Juliana, I am so sorry. I don't know if she knows anybody but I'll check with my best friend in SF and see if she has any theatre connections. If nothing else, she's an awesome aesthetician if you are ever in the market for some top-notch waxing or facials.
I can't imagine a more welcoming and inspiring place for you to be than San Francisco
Well you'd have to imagine it wouldn't you
since you never come up to visit.
Hmph.
t /wants all the Buffistas all the time
Juliana, if you have to come out early for an interview I think you'd love going to Cabaret Verdalet with us. 40s Hollywood Glamour Night!
First, may your move be as painless as possible, juliana, and a hope that everything works out for the best. At least you're not moving someplace where there's no one to turn/talk to.
Healing vibes for vw {{{{{{{{{~~~~~~~~
And big time congrats to Susan on the new job.
