Haven't you killed me enough for one day?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Daniel, no more falling down stairs, okay??

Yes. This.

{{{Deena}}} feh. I hope the rest of your day goes better.

Lunch with DH got cancelled today because of a meeting. So we're going to sit tight (it's raining, anyway) and I'm trying to work up a grocery list.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

OK, about to try calling again. I want this resolved. I'm sick of having to think of the pay they're offering as Schrodinger's Salary.

t deep breaths

No answer. If she's not there by 8:30 I'm going to have to try negotiating directly with Potential Boss, which is obviously a skill I'll need to develop, but right now I'm all about what's easiest and most likely to get me what I want.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Susan, it's not even 8:30 in the morning where you are. Don't stress out about it yet.

Susan, I'm just wondering -- would calling so early possibly irritate them? I know that whenever the phone is ringing as I'm walking into the office, under-caffeinated and half-asleep, whoever is on the other end is likely to die.

Steph, that would normally be my impulse, to allow people time to get in and caffeinated, and call around 9:00, but Potential Boss specifically asked that I let them know first thing, since if I say no they want to move straight on to the next candidate. PB gets in around 7:30, and C between 8:00 and 8:30.

Thrive to spite them

Susan, I know when my supervisor says "first thing" she usually means about an hour after she actually gets into her office. She has to deal with email and voice mail and she sometimes that takes time.

I'd give C. until 8:45 and then call.
