Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

'Never Leave Me'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That is gorgeous, Jessica! I'm considering getting one of those one-cup pod machines. They make coffee so fast. I'm all about instant gratification.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That's what I love about my espresso machine, when it's working. It takes like a minute from stumbling into the kitchen to having espresso in hand. But it's stopped pressurizing properly, or something, and now I am coffee-less.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Speed is a HUGE part of my Melitta cone love. (And why I finally replaced my stovetop kettle with an electric one -- hot water NOW!)

Me, I am hungover. Ish. My head does not hurt, but I am simultaneously starving, and having my tummy go "you want to put FOOD in here? After all that ALCOHOL? Are you NUTS?". Sigh.

And my boss just called going "You're coming in today, right? Right? Where are you?". BOO.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That is a gorgeous machine, Jess.

I am trying to decide if I want to scavange for breakfast type food here, or go up and get food that someone else makes and brings me. I wish the latter didn't involve getting dressed and other people.

Sure!

(Huh -- I guess that enabler tag doesn't close after all.)

I have a lunch dilemna. I'm not hungry yet, because I just recently had breakfast. But if I wait until after Good Night and Good Luck to eat, I'll be starving.

And I had peanut butter on an english muffin for breakfast, so a snack of peanut butter on a rice cake is a less appealing option than it otherwise would be.

Is there fruit in the house, Jess? Something for your blood sugar?

Hec = no fun

There may indeed be some fruit. And if not, there's always movie theatre nachos.
