We didn't have elections. I can't remember a year when there wasn't anything on the ballot.
Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I actually don't want a brownie. I should maybe take my temperature.
After dinner I said, "I'm dying for something sweet." Of course, having cleaned out all the temptations in the house there is NOTHING here. DH said, "I might have some lifesavers in my briefcase." To which I added, "And by 'sweet', I mean 'chocolate'."
I think I might buy some low-fat chocolate milk at the grocery tomorrow. That always seems to take the edge off. And it's really not bad if you mix it half & half with skim.

I originally read this as mix it with half & half and was confused.
If we had elections today, they did a spectacular job of not getting the word out. Usually, I get some kind of flyer in the mail that alerts me and this time, nada. I may be making a wrongful assumption, but I'm guessing there wasn't anything happening here.
I have no brownies. I do have strawberries and whipped cream, though. They'll do.
Note to world: still want to lick david boreanaz
Trudy, you have good taste.
Trudy, I take it you watched Bones?
Did it make you cry? At all?
And if it didn't, can you lie and tell me it did? Because I'm still crying like a big baby over here.
I just caught the end, dammit.
Granted, a large part of why I'm crying is my own issues, which therapy and drugs will never never get rid of, and a small part is PMS, but I think it had some legitimate tear-jerking-ness.
I missed the first twenty minutes or I'm sure I'd be very weepy indeed.
