[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Cool shoes, Jess.

My granny boots for my costume just got here today. without socks on they are actually comfortable, but I think I need to try to stretch them this week so I can wear them with my strippey socks. Also, need to practice walking in that high a heel.

Maria, those pictures are incredible! You are absolutely stunning in the OTD and the way the veil overlays the train so you can see the embroidery on it? Awesome. I blubbered over the flower girl, she was adorable! And I haven't even gotten to the food pics. Good thing I just ate.

Jessica, is the toe-nail polish part of the Corpse Bride costume, too?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

So I officially got the job at the video game store if I want it. My "interview" consisted of me walking in, Manager Dude looking at my app, and saying "Um, sure. I don't see why not." I could sit around and wait for the mall stores to get off their asses and call me, then have to grumble about mall parking, or take the lower pay and work better hours selling video games.

It's sort of the anti-Bath and Body Works. I think I enjoy that.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Actually, I'm hoping that by going barefoot in Minnesota in late October, I can save some money on blue makeup...

Hee. I'm sure you can. I woke up to a balmy 38 this morning in WI. I'm willing to bet Minneapolis had competing temps.

SailAweigh is lying. I don't know why she is, but she is.

I'm lying? What am I lying about? My hands get blue at 38, let me tell you! But then, I'm the kind of person who wears gloves when it's 45 out. My hands are always cold.

Because books.

Maria, the pictures are gorgeous! What a lovely day, and what gorgeous people! The dress really is incredible.

I can't imagine what it's like for my nephew to have been threatened and then actually have the threat carried out.

Ack, Sparky. I can't, either. Broken bones? That's...well, there are no words. That kid meant to do damage, and that's what scary. {{{Sparky's nephew}}}

{{Kyle}} Oh! I'm a hairpat slacker. Much healing~ma to the nephew. Sounds like your sister is pretty on the ball on dealing with the system. Another place I think is majorly lacking in having had cluesticks judiciously applied.
