Apparently Alton Brown says you don't want to actually boil the water because of the potential of releasing chemicals that might be in the water.

My solution to this is bottled water for tea.

Best to use water fresh from the cold tap, as well-oxygenated water makes the best tea.

I should note that I have apparently made many cups of tea the DA way, just that I planned to do it with the book open in tribute. Sadly, I only borrowed the book to read, and I thought at the time it was more complicated. It must have been the swishing. I generally don't swish.

when I was backpacking ineurope a brigtish boy made me tea every day beccuase he loved me which I did not know until the day before Ilef. He is probalby married wit sicx chidlren by now. I should trakc him down in cahse he's not == he taught me to use BOILING water
