He was a great big monster of a cat, noble and cranky and always in hunt of the elusive lap. Those of us who knew him couldn't fail to be impressed by the boy.
I'm glad he went on his own terms, but damn it, I wish he'd have fifteen more years.

That's brilliant! You've gotta have your priorities. Did you see Chavvy won the gold glove again (despite his shoulder problems)? And that Hatte is gone, but has an offer to come back to the front office with Beane when he's done with playing?

I saw that Hec, also saw that Wash is coming back and they are shifting some of the coaches around. I get Fischer in the bullpen (I think). That is cool about Beane's offer to Hatte.
