Inara: Who's winning? Simon: I can't tell. They don't seem to be playing by any civilized rules that I know.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Somebody told me they couldn't marry me because I'm not Jewish. In the light of day, I don't remember if they couldn't be my spouse or couldn't officiate for me and somebody else.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

That'd be fabutastic, Amy. Mwah!

Because books.

Have you worn Converse before, JZ? In other words, if there's a choice between 9 1/2 and 10, which way should I lean?

ImememeN, I'm fairly sure I'm going to Tampa the first weekend in December with a very old friend, courtesy of her FF miles, to see another very old friend. I am stoked. A trip!

Edited to give Nora hugs, and to admit that I may have inadvertently bogarted all of Maidengurl's "good day ~ma"...

I have, and I think I'd lean up to 10. Which is fortunate for me, because generally it doesn't matter what damn shoe it is, the 9s and 9 1/2s disappear from the store almost immediately.

Oooh, free trip and two old friends! Rock!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry Nora. But you're still brilliant!

I am not at all in the LJ habit, but I did post some Wilma pictures there. [link]

I don't like it when my mom calls me at work.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I am completely inept at dealing with my mother.

Sweet girl, I am right there with you. It's so frustrating. However (observe my years of therapy paying off), I wouldn't say that *you* are inept; I'd say that the relationship between the 2 of you isn't conducive to healthy interaction.

And I seriously don't mean that as a bunch of psychobabble -- I mean it for real. Bad interaction between the 2 of you is NOT your fault.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I am completely inept at dealing with my mother.

She knows right where your buttons are, she installed them. You will never have similar power over her so just quit trying.
