Angel: You're lying. Gwen: I'm fibbing. It's lying, only classier.

'Just Rewards (2)'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

If I only had a brain...

Partial victories. I sent E-mail to Will's teacher explaining the situation and she wrote back agreeing to give him partial credit this one time only.

Silence means security silence means approval

Now that I have some hindsight, I can see that I over-over-over-over-over-reacted yesterday.

I feel really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really stupid.

Ugh.

brillig

I had this thought this morning, and now I'm having it again. It's getting to be that thoughtful time of year, and I thought it would be reassuring to mention one really nifty thing that happened to each of us this year.

For me, it was seeing Billy Idol in concert, barely ten feet away. Plus getting to go to the eyeglasses place later and saying, "Well, my sunglasses got bent in the mosh pit at the Warped Tour" and seeing looks of respect.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Edit: Nevermind. I'm an idiot.
