Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Betsy, how old is your son? Is it possible to set up something where your son has to write down all his assignments, have his teacher sign the assignment book, and then have you have to sign it as well? That is what my mother ended up having to do with me in grade school because I procrastinated so much and was just generally too disorganized to remember all of my assignments.

Betsy, much hope-the-teacher-has-sympathy~ma for your son. It's so easy to make an honest mistake like that. I've done it myself by marking the wrong time on my calendar even though I had an e-mail to refer to. Let's hope the teacher is Gumpian in philosophy.

I'm getting the pig!

My immediate supervisor just called a group huddle to announce she's leaving the company in a few weeks.

That whole "the straw that broke the camel's back" saying?

Yeah.

I'm ready to toss today into the furnace or burn it at the stake. Who's with me?

Betsy, I hope your son's teacher is having a better day than the Bitches seem to be having. Might help with her decision, if so.

Can we wait until about 9:30 tomorrow? I'll have my paycheck by then.

If I only had a brain...

I'm ready to toss today into the furnace or burn it at the stake. Who's with me?

Much too good for it. I'm kicking today in the 'nads. Twice.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, you made me giggle ("It was the only way").
