And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

aimee, hell I just swore in this thread very recently. maybe in this post. Granted I didn't swear AT anyone. But I swear like a sailor.

I figure if Allyson Hannigan can do it, so can I! :-)

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Suddenly, I feel rather horrible for having sworn around beth in person.

I knew you were going to say that. But I promise you that you said nothing to make me cringe. And I am much more about the context than my parents.

But I have to say , it is really odd to aplogize for not swearing. Or at least explain why I don't.

and I am greatful for SciFi television for giving the me the words frell and frak. frak is good for that nice sharp spit sound you sometimes need. and I use frelled for things that are buearcratic, fraying, and a basic mess.

If I only had a brain...

Frell is the best imaginary swearword ever.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Frell is the best imaginary swearword ever.

It lacks hard edges. Frak is so much better.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

It is safe, ms. bug. did you breathe all day?

Now I'm thinking about swearing. Because I do swear. I give DH a hard time when he gets really crude - and wants me to agree. He can rant all he wants - but if he is trying to convince me of something- calm and rational works better. Besides, he has an immense vocabulary. He can do better than that. He was one of the peoplke I had to explain my non-swearing habit. He just didn't get it. Until I asked him what Happens when I actually swear. He said " I pay attention". case closed. Strong language means strong emotion.

did you breathe all day?

I did! And it was wonderful! I actually feel like myself again. Had a busy, but good day.
