'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

FAUNAPALOOZA!! Thus have I christened my Phillip Island sojourn, largely on the grounds that I don't know when else someone might use the term. More after sleep and work.

PS: The photos of cutiehead tiny people are adorable.

PPS: Barking owls!

move out and draw fire

I've got half a mind to go to the travel agency tonight and just bloody FIND a flight to Cyprus or Prague or Greece or Turkey or somewhere and go for a long weekend on my own.

Go Greece! Choose Greece!

(and, relatedly, any recs for places to stay in Cairo?)

Barking owls!

Just wanted to repeat that.

Our wings are not tired.

I need to get in the shower too. I'm drenched with sweat already. It is 79F at 8:40AM and raining. It was not a comfortable night sleeping. Looks like it will be a sticky day. I might have to hang around air conditioned grocery stores today.

We had the slowest Halloween I've seen in 25 years. Maybe 20 kids. I don't know if people just didn't bother, or if they have gone away due to the no school thing. Sad.

But what a joy to wake up to so many cutie costumed Buffista babies! Big and small, all so precious.

Now to shower, with no hope of drying off. Yuck.

Ann, that's a ferret.

We ended up with 40 trick-or-treaters. Max and Teddy were both big hits. (One girl asked to pet Max. We let her -- he's very sociable that way.)

Our house ran out of candy while CJ and I were out workng the neighborhood. It was very strange coming home to a dark house.

Then again, it is the first year in FOREVER that I have not carved a punkin, and we had NO decorations. The bah-humbug is begining.

The really sad part - I was asleep before K-Bug got home from being a corpse. I have not gotten a report on how that went yet.

I hate my life.

K-Bug just called me crying. My mom is pissed cause the milk didn't get put away last night. Then she noticed that DH's truck is still parked out front. No one told her he got laid off and K-Bug was scared to.

How the hell do I help her through this when I'm barely able to hold together. I hate crying at work.
