I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

DH is grumbly, understandably so - he got laid off today.

I'm sorry. The universe really needs to back off your family for a while.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Oh, and while I can understand that you can't not lay off people at all during the holiday season, since 10/31-1/1 is basically one big run of festivity, when I am queen of the world, no one will be laid off on Halloween, the day before Thanksgiving, or Christmas or New Year's Eve.

Trust my rage

Going to bed now, but here are Ellie costume pictures. She did very well and even picked out some candy for herself (not that she gets to eat it, but she liked the way it crinkled.) [link]

So cute!

And Susan, I completely agree and hope that you can be queen of the world to make this come into being.
