I am not having sex with Spike! But I'm starting to think that you might be.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

vw, I'd be happy to do the survey.

Annabel still isn't sleeping like she should, but today she held off on waking up until around 6:00 a.m. (which I know isn't all that early in kid terms, but she's still not falling asleep till around 11:00, despite us putting her down by 9:00), which is a lot easier on the sanity than 2:00 or 4:00 or 5:00, or all three in the same night.

Gud, I'm sorry to hear that you are under-appreciated at home. Your kids are going to have some absolutely wonderful memories of the time they got to spend with their Dad, but I doubt that's much consolation at the moment.

Jealous of shopping for fun clothes, as all I've been doing is work-related shopping.

The DH surprised me with tickets to last night's show at Freight and Salvage. We had a good time, but it didn't make getting out of bed on a Monday morning any easier. Gronk!

My wife has some legit complaints and some legit problems as well.

I'm sure that's true, Gud, but we are partisan lot.

What Sparky said. I hope for your sake and the kids that your wife is working on her "legit problems," because having that kind of tension between the parents does affect the kids.

And you mentioned two of my phobias, clowns and escalators...I'm glad to see that Leif shares the completely rational reaction to clowns, and that neither share the stupid fear of escalators.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

what great pictures Gud!

and I wll send you lot of strength to get through all this. I know I try really hard when discussing problems DH and I have, - ( which happily - tend to ebb and flow on thier own schedual) , to concentrate on me. and it can still come out sounding that if only DH would do A everything would be all better.

GF and I drove down to San Diego (well, Solana Beach) on Saturday to see the hip-hop artist, Common (formerly known as Common Sense). We arrived in lovely SB around 2 and went to check out a few of the beaches, which were lovely. SB is a nice little beach town. At 3:30, we checked into our hotel and napped until 4:30. Then we went to dinner. After dinner, we went to walk on the main strip of SB. Again, very nice and quaint, even if the shops were all closed. We happened upon the club in which Common was to play that night only to see Common Sense on the marquee. "Hmmm. I remember there was a reggae band back in the day called Common Sense," says I. "Shit," says L. That's right, folks, it was Common Sense the reggae band playing that night, not Common. So, we went back to the hotel, checked out, and were on the road back home at 6:30. The end.

Happy Monday!

I'm home from school and work. I got very upset by an assignment that was returned that I couldn't stop crying and had to come home. I'm doing a little better, but I'm very angry.
