Simon: Captain... why did you come back for us? Mal: You're on my crew. Simon: Yeah, but you don't even like me. Why'd you come back? Mal: You're on my crew. Why we still talking about this?

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's never wrong to eat Pop-Tarts.

Always Anti-fascist!

Nah...not when you're all stressed. Although The Stress makes food nauseating to me so you might not wanna take my advice.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Cookies-n-cream.

I could heat up lentils from last night, only I don't have anything breadlike to eat them with other than goldfish crackers, and I don't want goldfish crackers. Or I've got frozen pizza, but it takes 30 minutes to heat in the oven and is gross-textured if microwaved, and I should've eaten 1 1/2 hours ago and need food nowish.

move out and draw fire

Depends on what flavor of Pop Tarts. Fruit flavor is fine for lunch, but brown sugar should only be eaten in extremis.

I've been trying to figure out whether to weigh in, and if so how, but it's 11:30 here and I really want to go to bed. I was planning to shower tonight, but that's not going to happen. And I was planning to achieve connubial bliss, but the DH is still doing his homework.

So I bid you all good night, and Happy Halloween.

Silence means security silence means approval

OK, I'm the father, and I've come to bust heads and take names, in that order.

A-N-N-A-B-E-L. THERE IS NO "LE" AT THE END OF THE NAME. IF YOU ALL ARE GOING TO GANGTACKLE MY WIFE FOR HER WEEKLY "I WORRY THAT OUR DAUGHTER WON'T BE SPEAKING FLUENT SHANGAAN AND MEDIEVAL ITALIAN BY THE TIME SHE IS FIVE" THEN AT LEAST SPELL MY DAUGHTER'S NAME RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes I do feel that Susan won't love her daughter as much if she isn't, say, speaking French at five

DID I SAY FRENCH? ANYWHERE? NO. I SAID SHANGAAN AND MEDIEVAL ITALIAN. AND SWAHILI AND HINDI BY THE TIME SHE IS SIX. GET IT RIGHT.

Brown Sugar Cinnamon is the One True Pop-Tart, but I wouldn't turn down a Cookies 'n' Cream

Thrive to spite them

Pop tarts are great for dinner.

Last night I had Chips Ahoy and Milk for dinner.

Swahili? I thought we wanted her to work on Aramaic and Koine Greek next so she could call out preachers when they abuse ancient languages to make the Bible mean whatever they want it to mean.

And we knew people were going to spell her name 20 different ways when we named her Annabel. Though I'm still trying to figure out how the woman at the speech clinic heard our last name as "Reuben".

I SAID SHANGAAN AND MEDIEVAL ITALIAN.

Clearly, there are languages I've never even heard of.
