No adrenaline shot. I've heard those are no fun.
I actually felt kind of stupid, 'cause I was doing ok by the time I got to the ER. But, I figured since I was there... and my PCP wanted me to get the steroids to get me through till Monday. So...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm assuming medical professionals know that sometimes you're going to reach them after the symptoms have already peaked, and that you shouldn't feel stupid for not feeling like complete hell anymore.
I say assume, because I've never been able to internalise the knowledge enough to not feel silly myself. It makes sense, but that doesn't always help, does it?
Oh, they were very nice about the whole thing. I just felt a little silly. And I did have a nice little coughing spasm while the doctor was listening to my lungs, so at least it didn't look like I was completely making it up. And my oxygen level went up after the treatment, so that was good too.
I've never had a doctor that I've thought wasn't an ass anyway treat me badly for not being half-dead right then and there, but I do get diagnosis anxiety -- I worry that I'm not remembering the pain in enough detail, that I'm using the word 'stab' when I really should be saying 'prick,' or that it was a burning sensation and not an ache. Or that I'm pointing half an inch off or something equally probably not a huge deal.
The thing is, when it comes to breathing, better to err on the side of caution, even if you do feel silly. There's nothing worse than letting it go till 3 a.m. and *then* winding up the ER.
ita, I saw in Natter about the fainting -- I hope you're taking care of yourself. If I had a cabana boy with EMT skills and a light touch, I'd send him ASAP.
Watching The 100 Scariest Movie Moments on Bravo, since I couldn't settle on an actual scary movie to watch. I've clearly missed a lot of gore in my movie-going life.
A pox on your insurance prescription limitations, vw. ita? fainting? not good. Hope whatever that is, gets cleared up too.
I have pictures including even a cute kitty picture. Because I love you.
JZ's Full Ensemble (for the Jill Tracy show)
David Dandied Up for a decadent night out
Goodness that boy is a cutie pie. I thought about asking how you could let that woman out of the house, wowza! But then I looked at the picture of you. Clearly the two of you belong together. Hotness multiplied.
I do love the cunning hat.
Back from party. Fun. And weird. But fun. Apparently left pronouns at party.
