Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I'm still thinking about it. I've got so many dressy clothes I've bought for various Christmas parties, I hate to buy something new when I can recycle something I've worn before. Plus, I've got this gorgeous silver/purple shimmer throw that I've been dying to find something to put under it! Decisions, decisions.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh pfffft. Go off on a long, pretty drive with mah sweetie and miss the first 100 of a new thread.

Now to go back and catch up on 26, and the first 100-odd of this one.

I want to eat at Nora's house. I love lamb.

eta: Well, since no invitation was forth-coming, I'm going to go reheat some rosemary chicken from the other night. Sigh.

I was trying to figure out what a lamb tagline was, and why Nora was keeping it in the oven rather than under her username...

Oy.

It's H's birthday, and we went out for a loooong drive. Gorgeous day. Completely did not accomplish anything useful at all. Why are we both smiling?

Our wings are not tired.

That dress will be wonderful on you Sail.

Nothing on the local stations except hurricane stuff. After I finish my chores it will be time to hit the DVDs.

Our wings are not tired.

Going on long drives is one of our favorite things. Brendon likes the undivided attention thing.

We have a Coldwater Creek in one of the local malls. I'm going to see if they have it in store so I can try it on for fit. No point going through the hassle of returning something through the mail if I don't have to.

SailAweigh, I am afraid that the tagine got all et up. It was very nice. Super comfort food on a cold evening. I am about to put my favorite yellow flannel sheets on the bed! Whee!
