Following the hair conversation with amusement, because I ache for long hair. And it's never gonna happen. Not only does short hair look much better on me, my hair is too fine. Long, it only ever gets to my shoulder blades, and it looks like crap.
In fact, I have to get my new super-short hair trimmed again soon.
Good call on the speech pathologist, Susan, and definitely good news about Annabel's ears.

I'm increasingly outraged for Sumi. I mean, that's just so unfair. It was LUNCH. Lunch is IMPORTANT. Jackholes.
This is probably a sign, not only that Sumi's ruined lunch plans suck, but that I should eat something.
When, oh when, will this day end?
Yes, eat something!
It made me feel better.
However, a cheeseburger doesn't really make up for French cuisine.
It was LUNCH. Lunch is IMPORTANT.
Also, that's kinda what student workers are
for.
Also, that's kinda what student workers are for.
Is lunch long enough to eat a student worker?
Depends on your students, and the length of your lunch.
I like long hair on girls that can pull it off, but fully acknowledge that it doesn't look good on everybody. Straight down very long hair needs exactly the right face shape and hair type to work, and more complicated ones each require their own thing. Obviously.
And then sometimes, girls that look great with long hair cut it shorter and totally surprise me with the awesomeness of it, and I realize my fetish is just prettiness. My sister did this recently. Also, I think Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars) looks great with long hair, but looked better shorter.
Maybe I'm not a long hair fetishist anymore. Except in certain cases. Hmm. I dunno.
All the Aveda talk is funny because I JUST got back from getting my hair cut at an Aveda salon. It's a pretty good cut, too, and I liked the stylist. I'm afraid I may have made a social gaffe because I didn't think to tip - I'm not used to big city salons. At home, the owner cut my hair, so I felt not bad at all paying only the cost of the cut. Should I have tipped the stylist here, though? And what amount? Maybe I'll go tip her tomorrow or something.
A 15% tip is standard, Gris.
Hmm. Okay. I shall go and give her tip tomorrow. Thanks, Amy.
I hate when I don't know things.
