The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Beth, is there a way I can pay you in advance/buy a ticket now, or should I just buy one there?

Have fun ita-- what costume are you wearing?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

People I like need to stop falling down and hurting themselves.

In other news, I slept most of the day away to make up for lost time, punctuated only by finally getting to pick up my replacement safety tire after a month and going out to lunch at Bahama Breeze. Food was unremarkable if good, but I am spoiled for all lesser lemonade after drinking freshly squeezed juice sweetened by sugar cane juice. I'm tempted to go back for dinner just to have that to drink again.

I feel too groggy and headache-y to go see The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the drive-in, but may pile on some scary movies and Wallace & Gromit shorts to watch later.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

One important thing to note about the fabric store is that among its rich and gorgeous brocades, perfect for corsets, it has a particularly lush gold brocade with little twisty viney shapes and Japanese characters and, my hand to God, Hello Kitty faces. Some Buffista needs this brocade, I'm certain. (If anyone's willing to commit, I'll happily trot back, buy some and ship it.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Perkins, Tinkerbell.

I need two things: to find my nail file, and to stop absently poking at the knot on the back of my head. Is there another word for it, one that has fewer other meanings? In Jamaica we call it a coco, at least on kids. Which, ah, does have other meanings too, but none of them actually have anything to do with physiology.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Regular gasoline dropped to $1.999 today, after peaking at $3.099 five weeks ago. Yay for cheaper gas, but WTF drives these prices? It sure isn't local demand.

Also weird is that diesel peaked higher--about $3.50--and has stayed higher--currently $3.109

What are prices like for you guys?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That Etch-A-Sketch art is bananas, beth.

JZ, I'd tell erinaceous about that fabric, were I you.

I'm impressed with myself that I have literally wasted the entire day, but a little sad that I really need to do work. Oops.

I'm paying $2.50. And glad of it. The $3.50 and up was nuts. I clearly recall paying $.79. A bit ago.

I'd really love to find a bluegray chinese silk embroidery fabric. I love the color of my comforter cover and sheets (deep red and a plum) but I've got this teabox in those bluegray papers, and um...it's lovely. Which reminds me, I still need to frame the 30 year old korean watercolor I have. I just have to find a place that can mount it on a peach silk that won't damage it more than it already is.

So many plans....
