Wishing you zen on that, ita. And while I hope you remain migraine free, I also hope chocolate isn't the trigger. That's a cruel trick to play on chocolate lovers.

If (cause I think they did, but not sure ) Congress moved the date we go off daylight savings, I wonder if my computer is going to be confused next week.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That doesn't take effect this year. I disremember if it's 2006 or 2007.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Nilly, I need to email you later. I am running to a meeting right now. I need help with getting a gift to my co-workers in Herzlia.

hip deep in pie

Sue, feel better, too.

Thanks Nilly. I'm not feeling nasueous anymore, which is a huge plus.

I'm giving up chocolate starting today.

I'm so sorry. I hope it's not the trigger, because I'd hate to see a world where ita eats no chcolate, but I hope you do find the trigger soon.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I dunno. I'm very, very happy that the SC isn't going to be saddled with another painfully unqualified drudge and lickspittle (Thomas is already one too many), but I shudder to think what RW-ideologically acceptable horror Bush is going to drag out next.

On the other hand, most of the fury at Miers' nomination came from other Republicans, so at least if Bush nominates someone truly awful it won't be like the Democrats will have used up all their (smallish) political capital already. They stayed out of this fight and let it implode on its own. They just bloody well better be ready for the next one.

ION, I cannot find the new New Yorker anywhere. This makes me sad.

IOON, I may need to tag this:

bitch. do not start with me, I am IN A TIZZY.

if I can get permission. msbelle, have I mentioned lately that your ass is STUPENDOUS?

I'm'a keep looking today, brenda, but if it doesn't show up at any of the usual newsstands by the end of the day, I give up. I'd be happy with just a copy of the Scowcroft article if that's easier.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Harriet Miers has withdrawn her nomination for Supreme Court justice.

Throw in a few headlines such as "Cheney, Libby, and Rove Indicted for Treason" and this'll be the best news day ever.
