All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm looking at taking the train home for Thanksgiving. Driving takes 9 hours, the train takes 12 and the cost is pretty equal. Recently, driving has caused me some pain in my right hip/lower back. Is there any reason why I shouldn't go ahead and reserve a seat on the train?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would think that 12 hours riding would be more pleasant than 9 driving, so why not?

Dear msbelle: Don't start writing checks your ass can't cash.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't go ahead and reserve a seat on the train?

No. Train travel is very relaxing when compared to driving. Plus the train would probably have a sightseeing car and booze you can buy. Oh, and food.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Bring your own food on the train--on heavy travel days they often run our of food.
