And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Somebody make me get to work.

I will do no such thing. Goof off and play, young lady!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well, he is in IMDB, after all.

This is what I was thinking.

doing chor-e-o-graphy

Except now I'm thinking of Danny Thomas. Mmmm....

I worked with B.D. on Peter Pan.

And I WAS Peter Pan in 8th grade!

OK seriously, I need to review elasticity for this fucking test.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I've been feeling so ick that I haven't made it out of bed today. Which is bad, considering the three sets of tests and one set of writing portfolios I have to grade today.

I had that issue once. I was just tired, though. so, I baked cookies to make up for it. it took less time than grading 30 10 page papers.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You might as well ask Fraggles to motivate you, dude, as Buffistas.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is what I was thinking.

You think too much.

No, really.

I just checked my bank records, and U-Haul Storage NOLA hasn't billed me since August 4th. I'm hazarding a guess that I mightn't have stuff left. I mean, either they're not billing me on purpose, or the Katrina took out their systems. Neither bodes well.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I was kind of stupidly mind-blown that Emily Gilmore was Mrs. Houseman.

And Jerry Orbach was the husband! It's all connected.

Good thing I sent you some replacement comics. You might need to reload on vintage X-men, though.

Bwah!! What a great idea. Alas, they're way overdue already, so...yeah. Gotta do them.

Trudes, I only wish it was a hangover. Didn't have a thing to drink yesterday. I think I'm just exhausted on a lot of levels and may have eaten something last night that didn't agree with me just to top it off.

Also, just got off the phone with my car insurance company. Apparently they will be withdrawing $430+ from my checking account as of November 1st to cover the difference between my policy in CT and my policy in LA. Fucking great. From then on, my monthly payments are still going up $50 a MONTH from the old payment. Gotta love LA.

I'm screwed. There's no way I can afford to replace what I lost. No human way.

Ah, well. Making peace, getting zen. I lost thousands of dollars of crap before you even get to the comics. Uninsured, naturally.

Making peace, getting zen.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Kristin, can't you grade in bed? For some reason this is reminding me that my mother and I used to rate jobs according to whether or not you could read while doing them. Tollbooth attendant we could never decide on, because obviously you could never get really into a book, but there might be stretches where you could get stuff done. Hard to say, as by definition we never saw a completely idle tollbooth.

What goes well with bearhug from behind (leverage on finger)?

A nice zinfandel.
