See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

Okay, I know I'm not the only one to have seen this movie.

vw has, but I think she fell asleep long before that line came up, so she's excused.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Open the pod bay door, Trudy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I know the conversation has moved on, but I still feel my craziest freakish death story will be of use to her: A friend of my mother's died after slipping on the stairs at work. Just walking down the stairs, slipped, hit her head, died. So, anything can happen.

So, I did some studying. And now a teeny bit of work. Eh.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Hey, did everyone know that Kelly Bishop from Gilmore Girls was in the original cast of A Chorus Line? Isn't that fascinating? Don't you want to talk about it endlessly?

...

God, I have to work, and I so desperately don't want to.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Here, but ita grew up a lot in England where tights are hose and hose are worn by men in tunics.

Ah, that's what I get for skimming. I thought it was one of those "sneakers or tennis shoes" sorts of questions.

What's the common term in Canada? I used a different one (can't recall if it was nylons or hose) in front of a couple of canadian transplants and they looked at me funny.

WORD. Also, I'm avoiding trying to come up with the proper wording with which to ask the teacher I assisted whether or not he's written the recommendation I asked for a month ago. Cause, hey, maybe it'll come today! Then wouldn't I feel dumb?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's how my grandmother died, sort of. She did all that and then had a heart attack.
